KR Marr, CBAP®
It is my belief that working hard and working smart gives me positive results for any project and in life. Working smart for me is being organized, with continuous learning, and working with peers to share knowledge about business analysis and other industry trends. I work well learning about people’s concerns, business challenges, and goals then working with them to find, evaluate, and deliver solutions.
I am a business and process analysis specialist who is versatile and focuses on delivering quality solutions through collaboration with teams, independent analysis, and the pursuit of innovative solutions.
How I can help you
Business Analysis as a Service, BAaaS
Contractor services specializing in the Ottawa market for government projects providing business process mapping, requirements analysis, feasibility studies, gap analysis, designing applications, development, developing use cases, testing, documentation, implementation, change management and transitional documentation and end-user training.
BA services for small businesses. Delivering small-project documents, that are tailored for a specific business goal. Elicit, research, structure, document and validate business needs using the IIBA® business analysis standards.
Process and requirements analysis
I like to ask a lot of questions; I like to know how things work; I like to know what your business issue and problem is so that I can help figure stuff out.
Elicitation and evaluation
Asking questions and using traditional and new agile ways of getting information about the project, or issue, or business opportunity. Then using my experience to evaluate, structure and document the results in a useful format. From workshops to story maps.
Marketing
Not a strong skill of mine but I want to learn more. I find working in project and agile teams gives me many learning opportunities
Social media
Social media is important for today's society and I want to explore more the integration of social media with business solutions rather than have social media be a last step in a project
Design
UX design, client journey maps, user focused development - these are the new ways of "capturing requirements". I have started expanding my knowledge and look to the IIBA ® for sources of information
